a quick rundown,
pros-
lightweight & handy just like AK.
the longer barrel does not add that much extra weight at the front, so it's not front heavy.
the wood is actually nice, lightyears ahead of the beaver bark on the VZ I used to own.
machining of the critical parts are not bad at all, the barrel is very nice.
inserting mag is a breeze, the bolt is smooth when racked by hand, safety is easy to operate not stiff, however, it's a 180-degree throw.

cons-
some cosmetic flaws, scratches on the metal finish, wood to metal fit is very NORINCO, ugly but solid :)
none of above bothers me as this was meant to be a rough use military rifle, but if you are "new gun no scratch" type of guy now you are aware.

P.S, NO Cosmoline, just oil, very happy :)

The gun feels kick ass, a stamped metal commie battle stick! perfect.

How is the stock attached? Is it easily removable?

I didn't think I wanted one... after your pictures I'm thinking I might just want one.
