That actually brings up another good question as I also ordered a folder and they didn't exactly specify if it was both versions that were affected. I'm hoping us folders get some spare furniture to mess around with as well.
 
I'm hoping someone makes some synthetic furniture for the T-81. I especially like the green furniture on the Myanmar T-81s. NC Star?

While I personally prefer the wood, I do hope and assume someone is going to fill that void for synthetic furniture's on these rifles.

I'd maybe grab a set in black poly at some point to tinker with.

their facebook post said they didn't have proper wood handy for the fixed stocks...I'm wondering exactly what the issue is, but I don't think they'll be shipping folders with fixed stocks...so maybe the hand guards? Or the little pieces of wood on the folding stock?

Yeah I'm pretty sure just the fixed stock rifles have the extra set of wood otherwise they would have shown either both then.
The cheek piece on the folding stock is bakelite/plastic
 
I do prefer the appearance of the T-81 as is with the wood furniture, but the Zhukov set-up does not look half bad. Heck the Zhukov set-up on the VZ 58 series looks good as well.
 
I want mine to be battleworn and tier 1

Didn't you ask them about LMG version (bipod, long barrel and drum mags) on a gunshow last year? Or I am totally confused with rumors and trolling in that epic ####posting thread?
 
Yes I asked them about the LMG itself (not accessories tho) and from what I recall they said is they don't think the LMG is worthwhile to bring in and if they do it will be a few years before that happens
