**TYPE 81 7.62X39 SERVICE RIFLE** ~Now on the way~ -Last chance!

So...10x has been deemed NR, a 7.69x39 rifle, 250 preorder and is scheduled for December. Anyone thinking of dumping the t81 for it? Wouldn't it be funny if people got the 10x in their hands before t81?

I am. Probably would've gotten the m10x if I knew it was coming.

Who wants a folder t81 with 3 mags? Lol. No EE price just same as retail minus shipping.
 
I'm also in for both and my T81 and M10x will have to learn to live together because they're staying. One is classic beauty and the other can fit modern accessories, best of both worlds :)
 
I'm tempted to get an m10x as well...hmm, mag compatibility would be splendid...

i actually just realised i might have forgotten to order another two type 81 mags...i'm so pumped for it right now, but i think i will be away during the delivery window, which is really going to suck.

I just bought a bunch of the ammo Cabela's is selling as Czech, but is actually repackaged Chinese in cardboard containers. Reminds me of war dogs - maybe from the same batch??? Lol. It's corrosive 60's stuff but cheap, and will work. The guns are chrome lined in all the right places, so I'm just gonna run whatever in it.

The ultimate slap in the face would be if the m10x gets here first. Wantsalls says maybe as soon as late October (!).

I prefer the t81 with cheap mags and proven design, but the m10x is optics-ready and at only $1400, it will affect t81 sales for certain. I can see the price of the t81 going lower to keep sales volume up over time, but we shall see.
 
Oh man! Why did you guys have to start talking about the M 10x? Now I want one of those too!

So as far as anyone here knows, new production Barnal is non corrosive right? I think I will feed my 81 a diet of Barnal.

They did that with X54 as well, got 800 rounds of it. It's cheap enough and works just fine as I suspect the X39 will as well. I'm well stocked with X39 so I might look into the M10X as well. To be honest if this came available much sooner I would have bought this over the T81. But having both would be cool as well LOL.

Not too sure but where did you see Wanstalls state it will be here late October?!?!?
All I have seen is hopefully late December
