This is heaping insult upon injury, first TI refuses to provide constant status/instant gratification updates and then won't ship in a precise chronological manner of orders placed..... I can't take it anymore, when I get my rifles I will be placing them on the EE, I won't even open the boxes. I just can't take anymore disappointment.
Of course to help me get over the trauma I will list them at a healthy markup, you know, to help me get to my safe space

For collectors purposes, the fixed stock version is much rarer than the folder (even when it comes to the original Type 81). At some point it will be a unicorn in the collectors' market, kind of like them Valmets are today. I would think TI would probably order folders exclusively on the next one, since they've sold out the quickest. This would make the fixed stock ones pretty scarce.

Wood is scare only in PLA models (full auto) , not in the Canadian model.
In Canada the folder is more in demand.
This is very true.
The small handguard bands look like they might be painted, hard to tell. Gas block and FSB look like castings, stamped metal guard looks blasted and blued.
Maybe everything painted is stainless?
Yeah im on the fence with this, it does look like just rough metal that has been blued. guess we wont know till we scratch it a little.
Last word was there are a few fixed stock ones left, no spare mags left.

When I see that I think of the M+M fiasco. If you want a "black rifle" AK47 ish gun, maybe a Type 81 with a few upgrades would work fine and not end up wiith a $2000 price tag.

Dude use the scroll feature.
I've had rifles arrive with the barrel sticking out. It increases the chance of theft of a battle proven rifle.
