Did some shooting today. 35 total, rifle now at 70.
There was ten shots so I either put a couple through old holes or off paper, I have no idea.

Stripped it down and cleaned it

Decided I wasn't going to shoot grenades

Refinished with flat black enamel brushed on.
I made the rear sight cutout wider as well and only removed material from one side, hopefully next time I shoot it I can move the front sight back closer to the middle.
Hope this helps,
Lol, do you think I've lowered the resale value R:d:

thanks for uping the Value of my coming rifle ;) , let us know if you notice an improvement please !?

Ouch, You'll regret that eventually. :-(

Na, I don't care, I'm going to do whatever I have to in order to make it work for me.
I've already banged the stock on the frame of the chainlink dog run numerous times and drug the muzzle (accidentally because I'm clumsy) a few times across the shingle roof of the dog house. I have been hauling it around with me for the last few days.

First t81 bubba in canada!
Just teasing bud

No worries, I'll modify yours for you as well when you see how much better it is.

Ok. So for those who have yet to figure it out on their own. The front sight for the grenade is a ladder type just like that found on a Yugo SKS, the difference being is that is on the actual grenade. I will again post the link I have posted in the past with regards to the type 90 rifle grenade.

After looking a bit for sellers of the AK SKS sight tool I noticed that Home depot in the USA sells them too. Something refreshing about that.
