That's the reason I ordered one through TI. If there were more importers bringing them in I would have almost certainly gone with one of them.

I ordered a sight from Novosibirsk, Russia the day after the type 81s were announced in Canada and I have received it before I even have a shipping notice for the type 81. Guess I'll have to play with it on my 858 for now.

This is what happened with the mags. They said it wasn't their fault, they didn't over sell, they were shorted on the delivery. So too bad, you can get a full refund or STFU and wait. So be prepared for a similar situation with the rifles.

At least if the folder orders are fuct they might give you a 3rd option of taking a fixed stock.

I echo your new gun feeling sentiments, or smashing there of.
 
No tracking here yet either.

I ordered early enough to qualify for the preorder bonus mag and sling, I am curious to see how much my order is going to be shorted (much less even be delivered first!), I already know I won't be getting my full mag order but will I get screwed over with just 2 mags like some?

That would be the ultimate slap in the face if people don't even get their preorder bonus mags with their shorted orders.

Oh and still waiting for someone (other than an insider who jumped the gun) to say they got a tracking number for a folder and post some pics!

What was the cut off date for the preorder bonus? I thought they said eight per gun per customer.
 
It's the weekend guys. TI already stated they are working on getting them logged in and sent out this weekend. You should start receiving tracking info on Monday---> Just chill out.
