Day 6 update
I sent the rifle back to TI for a replacement unit. I am glad they do cover the shipping cost. My serial number is 20171342.

Day 3 update
Guys after I did a close-up inspection the day after I received it, I found that my rifle is bent ... Also, my folding stock is bent too...... Right now I am kind of disappointed for this rifle. After more than one and half years wait, I have a bent rifle... and no more range trip tomorrow. I sent some pictures to TI and I am still waiting for their response. I hope they can make this right.

Got my shipping numbers yesterday, and received the package today.

The lighter color cheek rest set does come with the rifle, but color does not really match.

Also, the lighter color one has some parts missing in order to properly mount these on the folding stock, I could only mount the cheek rest on the stock with the only front screw tightened.

Here is a side by side comparison picture, which one do you guys like? The lighter one looks odd to me, it is way too yellow......so I think I will keep the dark one installed.

Hmm... I wonder if ALL the replacement scales are missing the mounting hardware, or if yours is missing a part that should be there (i.e. defective?).

Hmm... I wonder if ALL the replacement scales are missing the mounting hardware, or if yours is missing a part that should be there (i.e. defective?).

They do come with a bag of hardware but that black clips are missing. They are brand new parts, and I drilled those holes for screws by myself.

The SCAR must have horrible QC the colors dont match... lol...

We purchased Chinese made junk, You need to lower your standards... lol...

My standards were definitely lowered for my fixed stock one with all the poor machining and ####ty wood, at least the furniture colors matched haha

nice looking rifle! where does the cleaning kit go if you don't have the fixed stock version? carrying extra stuff in your pockets doesn't seem logical but i guess over all the folder cuts down on more space.

Agree, TI did say they messed it up, hense the 2nd set. Hoping TI can bring in the proper colour with thier future mag order.
Worth asking. Rifle does look good but not liking either colour here. Should be same as thel AKs

The cleaning kit is inside the folding stock.

Yeah, I'd be more interested in buying an extra set of dark military-color wood to go with the dark scales, then in getting lighter scales ot match the blonde polytech furniture.

I wonder if TI can import surplus gas tubes and forestocks for those of us that want it to look like the military guns.
