TYPE 81 folding stock more pictures (DAY 6 Update "a bent rifle")

I tried to warn people about Norinco miltary-grade quality as experienced with the oprevious Type 56 AK rifles of the 1990s, and was promptly insulted by the fan-boys. Well, here you go with bent receivers and butt-stocks, hand-filed bolts, and Lord knows what else wrong. I am willing to bet that $2Kat least buys you a straight receiver with the M+M M10X rifle. I'll just leave that for the "cheaper is better" fan-boys to contemplate as they eat crow. You know who you are....

I don't think a $2000+tax/shipping US made SKS is a realistic option for many Canadians. I'm sure sales will be very limited, and said Mikey Mouse company will be off on some new adverture playing the victim in order to screw people over within 2 years max.
The design is nothing but cobbled together stolen ideas from different firearms, not exactly anything ground breaking with his "half AK but 4 times the price". It's also shown to lock up solid with a little bit of sand introduced which says alot about his motivation...#### cheap gun to make to milk people out of their $$.

You whine alot!

No, I'm just tired of reading 5 pages of people telling us their rifle hasn't shown up yet in between the one or two posts where people actually talk about the rifle.
Will posting multiple times a day that there is no tracking number yet then replying to someone else who says they don't have a tracking number yet somehow make them show up any faster?
We all know that people are still waiting for their rifles and I feel for you guys, it's a real shame that some of them seem to be taking way too long to get shipped but telling CGN 5 times a day isn't going to change that.

Yeah, definitely some quality control issues thus far. I have went over mine pretty thoroughly and thankfully I think I'm in the clear, knock on chi wood.

I think they're still doing better than NEA/BCL for QC, hard to say though, don't know how many are actually in customers hands right now since they seem to be having some serious issues with shipping.

Yup, probably why they aren't selling in the US market. Oh well, just get it a non restricted FRT and give it a DMR safety and those stupid Canadian will pay double :p

I doubt there will be much crow on the platter once the M10x actually shows up here.
For me it wasn't cheaper is better it was a matter of me wanting something new to play with in x39 and not willing to spend $2000 for a bullet hose from an unknown manufacturer with no history and ####e sales in the US for $1000. Maybe the guys that have actually handled and fired one that don't work for M+M were much less impressed by the rifle than what M+M hyped it up to be in their advertising.

Are you an english professor? You use some awesome words that I have never heard before.

hey you're back and whining more,

Pssst, keep in mind that not many people have there Type 81's yet.

2 issues reported so far on this site but... I wonder if there are even 30 members on CGN that have there Type 81 rifle yet ?

With TI's customer service, it may be even fewer. They are failing epically, 4 weeks into basically not shipping any real quantity of product.

Well if they've already shipped all the fixed stock only orders and have 1/3 to 1/2 of the folder and multiple rifle orders shipped or at least ready to ship they have a real quantity processed but this really should have been done by now or they should have at least let people know what was going on. Seems like they're kinda just stringing guys along now hoping people will forget in a week or two once all the rifles are out.

At first I thought that even though they didn't really do the right thing sending out the fixed only orders first at least everyone would have a rifle in the mail within a week but now I can't understand what they're doing. If they are having some issues they could really do themselves a favor by being more transparent and telling people what the actual holdup is. I doubt this will put them out of business but it's sure going to hurt future sales to guys on this site.

Off topic question but can the mods use something like an IP address or something to keep banned members from making new accounts? Lately there has been all kinds of problems with returning banned members.
I don't get these idiots, you were banned for a reason so don't go away mad just go away

Everyone here, by virtue of dealing with TI, should be used to giving out multiple second chances. :^)

Did you still not get yours yet?
Seriously, maybe some Gunnutz locally could go help them ship stuff out...for a fee, or a rifle or something.
Crazy they would sell a dealer rifles before filling all the pre-orders.

I thought that TI was going to ship the rifles till Sunday. Which would mean that all of the folders would be arriving at peoples homes next week.
