Type 81 LMG Drum Internals

Gin and Ginger is what did it for me.

You need a cutoff wheel and a dremel. The spot welds on the butterfly nut need to get cut just enough so they allow it to turn. Cut on the flat of the circle sheet steel. Make sure to rivet or weld a stop back in place to limit to 5 rounds.
 
I ordered after September 24 and I never saw the updated description because I had the drum in my cart already, so when I ordered my LMG, the old description was still there. Don't know how but it was. What it is for? There is a video on youtube.

no, not another shipment, same shipment. the guns are here with the drum wheels, they chose to ship out the wheels first but held back the guns till after the xmas rush.

Got my spicy '75 bike wheel.
Only thing I'm wondering about is how to attach the wingnut to the new spindle. I'm well equipped but I got nothing to weld with.
 
Where are you all finding them? I asked to be notified but nothing, no response to the email I sent a few days ago either. I want my dang internals.

Well, first off I sent my request email the moment they said they would bring replacement spindles and distribute them for free to anyone who got them before the 24th of September, and they acknowledged my request.
I also got the email about the shipment and the tracker less than 24h before it was delivered, even though it was shipped six days prior.

Were you even eligible for a free replacement in the first place anyway?

Yup, my order fits and I already had "Nadine" say I'd be contacted. No luck so far I guess I will call after the holidays.
 
Bought mine on the first day, sent a email to ti the day they asked for the drum internals request. Got email back saying all good for replacement. Still haven't got a shipping notice or anything

They were missing the other half of the wheel and had a blank steel plate installed instead with notches for 5rds

Just hold tight on that. They got the wheels and sent them out as requested but that shipment was way more than just wheels. I think they'll update their store with everything all at once.
