Type 81 'M' Reviews, suggestions, upgrades

Dang .. so, the CSA VZ58 in 7.62x39 had issues?? + ..as per..SUCKS... as per- no one can figure that out for themselves these days..~
Hardly, it was an excellent rifle for the money! Im simply saying the Type 81s have some limited qualities that the 58 does not and vice versa.....And that some characteristics are more valuable then fit and finish.

The metallurgy breakages on VZ 58s were very few and far between, especially in the 7.62 models and often didnt happen till the round count approched 5 figures. But still, when comparing the internals... the hammer on a Type 81 for instance looks like a lifter pulled from a tractors engine block where as the striker on a 58 looks like a plunger pulled from a medical syringe.

Very true and the VZ58 was already $1,400/1,500 when it got banned. But the version with 11.8" barrel is a beauty.
