Type 81 Manual said:The iron sight consists of the notched rear sight, the adjustable sliding seat front sight and adjustable front sight. There are 5 graduations of "1" "2" "3" "4" "5" on the rear sight, which are used to aim 100m, 200m, 300m, 400m and 500m distances. The sighs are aligned when the front sight post is centrally located inside the rear sight notch, creating a flat line across the top of both sights. Once lined up, the top center point of the front sight is the point of impact.
