That looks great! Is that a Zhukov stock? What did you use to modify it to fit if I may ask? Comfortable, good fit? I’m in the market for a Type 81 and am undecided on underfolder or side but am leaning to a side folder.

yeah it's not originally a side folder. however, it does fold now. If you think you may want to put aftermarket stocks on, I recommend getting a fixed stock instead.

in terms of aftermarket stocks I would say so. eveyrthing else is roughly the same

Anyone else going to make vz58 stock adapters? Should have got a couple when they were available. Would be nice to be able to use the different stocks available such as the folding or polymer stocks.

I turned a Magpul folding Zhukov stock into a fixed collapsible stock. Fully extended the length of pull is about 1/4 longer than the LMG and the slope is perfect for using irons.

your best bet is delta dynamic out of alberta, not related to same name out of BC. they make alot of adapters for T81 but hasnt gotten to the VZ58 or magpul as of yet. they uses the same method as sigmaco system of attachment.

has anyone noticed a zero shift downwards when the barrel gets hot? I went to zero my optic on my 81m yesterday at 100m. after about 80 rounds in 15 minutes I noticed my group shifted about 2". granted I was shooting surplus, but I was getting fairly good groupings beforehand.
