I have a couple of those coming to and also have a 5 round AK mag that I will mod after practise on the poly mags, got a few 20 round profile mags as well. I am wondering if anyone has tried modding a SKS duckbill mag? They have the bolt hold open feature that would be nice to have if it is possible.

So....., I spent a little time and gave my new T81 Folder a Face-Lift...
1) Removed wood.
2) Stripped with Circa 1850 gel stripper, light sanding.
3) Stained 3 times with Min-wax, Dark Mahogany.
4) Applied 5 coats of BC Tru-Oil ,fine steel wool rub down after each coat.
I Really like how she looks now (the camera makes the stain look lighter than in real life)

Had her out yesterday, put a couple of hundred rounds through her with no malfunctions, all mags locked open on the last shot, except for the AK mag I modified; it ran flawlessly.
Really happy with this gun, and plan to keep her just the way she came, no modifications required.

Where are you finding WPA ammo? We need a site sponsor to bring in the milspec stuff as well as the 154 grain SP stuff.

Is the gas piston exposed? ?
Currently, as the gas tube cover is not easily replaceable since you'd have to remove three rivets, so we'll have to figure something else out.
AK grips need some major work to fit.

How does it attach to the T81? Looks like push out a trunion rivet and replace with a screw? Is it solid?
