Honestly an ak type safety would be more practical and ergonomic than the stock t81 180 degree safety. I'm sure if they did up a 90 degree version which had the same "fire/safety" position as an AR this would sell also. However the aesthetic of AK will be more popular for obvious reasons.

Anything to improve on the garbage safety that comes with the rifle. It is my only complaint about this firearm. I dont care if it is AK style, even a 90 degree throw would be fine. Something to make that crap safety a bit more practical.

I think youd sell over 100 to just the people in this thread alone who've voiced interest. Not to mention the many many new owners who just purchased from the new batch of Type 81s.
