FOLDER 1495 bent front sight or barrel straightish turned slightly to the right making the front sight off slightly to the right. how ever you want to word it . its annoying for 1200$ .......

Bent barrel, or crooked to the receiver? A bent barrel would be a new defect. Usually it's a crooked trunion.

The terminology of a bent barrel at cgn is barrel not inline with receiver.

The barrel is not actually bent.

Folder 71523 , severely bent barrel and selector stuck at fire.

Rifle returned.

How mad was the misalignment? Did you do a visual test with a string/laser line or checked it with a straight edge off the receiver sides?

The stuck selector is a new issue, I have not seen that one yet. Did you attempt to diagnose why it was stuck?

I am not criticizing you or how you may have looked over your rifle, I am genuinely interested in finding out all there is to know concerning any issues with these rifles.

Good question. The safety selector is as dead simple as one can get. It's literally a cylinder with a couple flats on it and one simple flat spring to tension it and hold it in place.

Hard to imagine how it could be stuck unless something was obviously broken in the gun.

I'd to follow certain steps from TI's gunsmith and visual, string and laser wasn't an option. He wanted pics of the straight edge inline to the reciever with measurements to the barrel. he then asked me to mail it in and that was before I told him about the stuck selector.

As a former weapons tech, I would normally looked into it closer but since I was sending it back, I didn't bother to study the issue, I chalked it up to an isolated case. I did manage to unstuck it with a screw driver in the mechanism but when I returned it to fire , it was stuck again.
