Type 81 sr....

I don't know much about the Type 81 models, other than I'm not comfortable with their ergonomics. Other than that, they're a very reliable platform and will do what they were designed to do.

As for the 7.62x39 round not being ''sniper quality'' anyone that believes all shots on target by ''snipers'' are over 1 klik are delusional.

I've made some very decent hits on "paper" silhouette targets, intended for sight in M14 and M16 type rifles, all the way out to 500 yards, with 150 grain bullets, loaded to what would be considered to be unsafe pressures in a ''Type 81," out of my Howa 1500.

No, the groups weren't spectacular by any means but they were all debilitating, center of mass hits that would definitely make continued activity very difficult on the part of a combatant. Surprisingly to me, once I had the range dialed in, all shots went into appx 8 inches (16cm).

The bullets were Hornady SSTs at just over 2250 fps and bullet drop was around 100 inches, which was more than I could actually dial into the scope I have on the rifle. My POA, with maximum elevation dialed in was the center of the head. The POI was about a foot (25cm) below, center of chest.

you may think all the tabuk users were killed because they opposed the us army but some were on the good side like sf or police.

I said most. Not all. At an urban environment especially in mil application it’s less relevant as the requirements broaden up. At a police level in hostage situation it would definitely be a shady option. The rarity of its adoption speaks volumes…

it worked very well for what it was designed for. using the same ammo and magazine as the ordinary troops but you need to study the war between iran and iraq to understand a little more about it. seeing sks used in yugoslav wars for the same may be an eye opener of what the little 7.62x39 can do in bad damages.

2500 - 2600 with some accessories sound about right, in my case it was 2440 with flash hider, scope, 2 extra mags.

lol that is always the same story but if you do not like it do not buy ... nothing new ... did you buy one from ti?

absolutely, i believe in capitalism and if anyone is stupid enuff to get scalped then its their stupidity.

yup, i did, i bought a dozen.

..... not, lol.

I had one in my hands at BULLSEYE IN LONDON and I'm not impressed at all.
For the price it should be in 7.62X54R {7.62X39 is not a long-distance round}and at least should have scope mount rail factory installed.
Rail, scope mount and solid POSP scope for at least $500 makes this gun way too expensive for the standards this gun offering.
And for last: accuracy sucks:2.5 inch at JUST 100Yds???
Terrible...
