Never found any for a good price in Canada. I buy my Kydex from a knife builders supply place in the US.

Is it an exact clone of the French FAMAS?

Looks like it's the new standard issue of the Chinese army, there was a photo in last week's TIME that showed a platoon of Chinese soldiers holding the same rifles.

It is not a FAMAS in any way, internally or externally. The Chinese army uses the QBZ-95, which is a different caliber.

"French Inspiration" is a frightening concept....until the FAMAS they seemed completely incapable of designing a firearms that was both combat-worthy and aesthetically pleasing.

why couldnt we just weld a nice metal AR type of "hump" on the side to deflect the shells.
