Type 97 ( carry handle version ), What optics you using?

just curious to ask :

I was suggesting to one of my friends to buy this exact model because of the price etc...

You can't remove the Carry handle right? which means if you want to put an optic on top of this your sight will be like 5" above the bore axis?

The carry handle is part of the plastic shell and pulls right off the rifle. The rail, however, is attached to the rear sight tower.

For me the carry handle rail should be fine for me. I feel cramped using the regular sigh already I don't need to be lower, If anything abit higher. My heads to big.....

I just need to find the ideal optic for this. My local stores have nothing to look at so I have no idea.

No ones really found a scope that works for these?
