Type 97 muzzle threading

I've seen a few pictures floating around of type 97s with aftermarket AR 15 flash hiders. I was wondering is there any gun smiths out there that have already threaded a type 97 barrel to take an AR15 flash hider. If so, how much would it cost to thread mine?

Has anyone done this? I would like to put on a new flash hider.
