Type 97 NRR

Its been to long for me. I just bought a T97 because the wait is to much. Im thinking of having 2 tho. Get one when they come. Im still excitted for the new one, just needed my fix for the time being

I wish CanAm would tell us what mods they requested to the rifle.

If this rifle that takes STANAG mags is the NRR,

I'm sure people will gladly save up their money for it, or hell, sell their 97NSR for one. In that case they should tell us "yes, it's the Type 97-1".

However, I'm suspicious if we'll get the Type 97-1... And considering T97.com is making the FTU and LHG, any mods CanAm make short of a Type 97-1 might be too little too late. Still, I'll wait it out, see what happens.

if im not misaken thats the type 95/qbz 95. im pretty sure china doesnt export their 5.8 versions. plus being top secret chinese military technology, you will never find 5.8mm ammo anywhere

That's the QBZ 95-1, an updated version of their QBZ 95 with fire selector on the pistol grip, bolt release button behind the magazine (as seen in the picture), Chinese accessory rails at the base of the front sight, lower sight line, and brass ejects at a 1 o'clock position for lefties.

They never made the QBZ 97-1, but here's hoping CanAm knows what's up and gets them to make one.
