Type 97 optic options?

I took the plunge and bought a Type 97 (the long one) when they went on sale. Have not shot it yet, but it seems to be as well made as anything else out there and certainly very different being bull-pup.

As far as I can see the options for optices are:

- Buy the scope that Lever has for $300. Seems to be nice and bright, but the field of view seems small.

- Buy a Real Sword mount and then put om whatever you want.

Can anyone tell me there experiences and give recommendations?

no matter what scope you choose, could you post some pics of your 97? :D:D

I have the Real sword mount - it works fine. A couple of guys on the board claim to be working on mount designs, hopefully they follow through when they get the time. From what I've read about the scope that lever has it's actually pretty good. I went with the realsword mount and an aimpoint micro so it cost me significantly more than the lever scope - which is designed to fit the 97 mount. Consider that the chinese military actually issues the scope that lever sells, so it must be pretty tough.
