If you look at the Tavor Vs Type 97 thread in black rifles Lector posted some very impressive groups with his type 97.
If they all shoot like his you could have a good 200 yrd varminter.
I didn't post any groups.
That little attention-whore / nutcase-b!tch posted, not me.
He took a pic of probably the best paper target in that session.
Not "all shoot like this" (but I wish they do).
That's exactly what I was trying to explain. Read my posts again.
I have shot few of them and I choose one that was moded,
mainly trigger job (by a real talent in the industry) and crown.
After some other guy optimized a round for it,
then some groups were reasonably good for a SA moded service rifle.
But it was a looong way to reach that point.
Generally speaking, it is a good gun, but not "all" shoot like that picture.
I was afraid the people got the wrong message,
and unfortunately that's exactly what happened.
