Type 97A (Not Dial-Up Friendly)

Knock yourself out. I'll wait.

I have no doubt that Marstar will be able to bring these in, and probably at a lower price, but I think you'll be waiting quite a while. Lever seems to have some sort of crazy connections with Norinco. I was talking to their workers and the owner is supposedly currently in China working on another deal! According to them the 97's they have are the only ones that will be available for quite some time as military production 95's come first. Don't know if this is BS or not but lets look at the facts:

1) Despite all the internet pouching - not one other retailer has been able to bring these in.

2) I've searched the internet extensively and it seems that Lever is the only retailer anywhere in the world that is selling 97's....

3) He has the Norinco CF98 pistol long before anyone (nice feeling gun by the way - nice sights too)...

It seems to me that the owner of lever has connections that no-one else in the firearms community has in Canada, and he doesn't pouch about it, he just brings the sh!t in!!!!

His prices are his prices - you pay them our you wait like all the others....

Note: Thanks to all our retailers for working hard to bring in cool stuff! Canada Ammo, Marstar and Lever - thanks a bunch and three dancing banana's for you:dancingbanana::dancingbanana::dancingbanana:

Lever wants too much money. As a potential customer, if they're wondering whey they haven't sold out and don't have these on a huge back order. It's simple they want too much for them. They're selling a Norinco product adapted for the North American market. It's not a perfect product, and it has a less than awe inspiring brand behind it. The price should reflect this, or simply put you won't sell very many. As soon as another company brings them in for a reasonable price, Lever will be done with this product. They better have something new by that time.

The shops I go back to are the ones that have resonable prices, even if they aren't the cheapest. Try and gouge me or take advantage and I'll wait for someone else.

TooTall's review summed this weapon up. It's fun and if they bring them in cheap enough they'll sell a lot of them. Well they cost too much for what they are. So they won't be selling a lot of them. Or at least they won't be selling one to me.

Hey!! Someone reads my stuff!:dancingbanana:

I am still thinking about that type 88 sniper. Someone bought it from under my nose. If I didn't know it was made in China, and how cheap labor costs in China and how much profits Lever cashing for his "inhumane" efforts... comparing it to Tavor or whats the other 3K gun... lets say swiss cheese I would still pick type 88.

P.S. Hey folks at Lever - can I get discount on next type 88 for my promotional effort?
