Type 97s and payment method.

CanAm, i ordered two Type 97s on december and have already paid the 100$ deposit on both guns and payed the remainder of the cost on one of the T97s.

I checked out CanadaAmmo.com and it says now. "We are currently taking PRE-ORDERS. This item is not in stock. We will not bill you until we are ready to ship your order." So im wondering how well your keeping track of orders.

Also, i've found threads with people that have the Type 97A from canada ammo, how was it possible for those people to get their guns but not us?

Any contact information about the customs in vancouver i'd appreciate. thanks.

The guns arent making it into the coutry so nobody is getting any 97's from CanAm so dont worry. You can get your 100$ refunded until the guns are deemed no longer prohibited.

The Type97's are being held and might be reclassified as restricted when they finally are released.

There is not way for them to be restricted with either an OIC or new bill.

Honestly, shouldn't they and the option to buy them be taken off the site until this is sorted out? Or maybe a disclaimer on the order page? No offense to CanAm, but allowing people to still order these doesn't seem right.

I agree. Accepting and considering consumer feedback is in any businesses best interest. As a CanAm customer, I am giving my opinion as to how best to improve the customer experience.

Theyd have to be non-restricted for me.

I want to HUNT with this gun, coyotes. I cant think of a better bush coyote gun.

I already have restricted weapons....

It is LONG enough, it is semi auto, it fires the legal round limited mags....I sure hope politicans stop watching hollywood movies and realise this gun is no more dangerous then any other hunting rifle and make it non prohib.

Canadianreich- it's not the politicians holding this up, but your friendly neighborhood RCMP.

And don't think they don't want to take your normal hunting rifle either. If these dickheads had their way, all guns in Canada would be banned.
