No, totally different set-up on the T97.

I saved a $100 rail by drilling thru the steel propietary chinese mount and successfully installed and zeroed a 3x ACOG TA33G with the help of Mr JB Weld and Red Loctite. Eye relief and head position is excellent!

I asked the same question on another thread...apparently not unless you drill into the carry handle.

A bit late for a pics when the set-up is vitually permanent. I had the ACOG as flush as possible in the front part of the proprietary rail so it wouldn't move, made a mark then I drilled thru it.

Have you considered a Vortex Spitfire 3X, since the scope is only 5.5" long and you can remove the riser from it so it would be the correct height

As far as I know these are essentially unobtainable. I had a Gen 1 T97 with the "special" rail on it, but with the Gen 2 version plus the FTU conversion for the Gen 1s, I doubt anybody would find it lucrative enough to order a production run (if that is even possible) at this point.

Gen 2 FTU or Gen 2 factory flat tops are in country and easy to get.

I got one.

Because I enjoy throwbacks, I am converting the original dovetail rail to fit my new Gen2 T97.

I kept the original cut-off components of my Gen1, upgrading it for a 1.5 + LHG, and then sold it to get the Gen2 to get a lower rail as my mod will be a tad higher than normal.
