U-build Crossbow

Title says it all. I want to build a crossbow.Has anyone out there done this?

I have searched all over the net and have only found 2 very old plans for a home made x-bow.

It should be powerfull enough to use for hunting so about 150lbs draw. Sounds like a fun project. Cant wait for all the cuts and gouges.

Car leaf spring would be the best way, theres a couple on youtube.
I made a small one and posted it there, I'll try to find it for ya.

I made that a few years ago, I shot a small suction cup dart because it was too cold and windy to shoot it outside.
The trigger mechanism worked amazing, I always planned on scaling it up someday.

Nope, but google should be able to help you out there. I may have bookmarked some stuff on my other computer, I'll have a look.

googled my brains out but all i managed to find was 2 very dated plans and managed to get a virus of all things...
