Nice rifle, D-Bomb!
Here is my November 1941 Garand, all correct, is/was a Lend Lease issue.

NAA, that is the nicest looking one I have seen I think. Just gorgeous!

they all are, but yours is super nice!

I don't know that much about them technically, so maybe its not as desirable as some of the others, but it just strikes me.

And, 2 of them for under 4 bills? wow...

Oh and I didn't know about the lend lease thing on rifles. I knew the US sent certain figher planes(P-39s and some others) to the Russians, but I figured they used Mosins and SVTs as thier mbr. Cool to learn something.

I'm not the best at taking pictures but here are a few of my late 1943 Springfield Armory. Based on the books it's completely correct for the time period. Hardly ever shoot it because of the uncut op-rod.

I've got a James River Armory M1...it's a refurb..hope it's ok to post it in this thread

I'm a M1 noob...so I didn't realize that I was blacking out a draw number on the barrel...not a serial number..it actually says "F6535448". The serial on the receiver (which I didn't take a picture of) indicates it's a 1943 Springfield. From what I've learned here, from a couple helpful members, the barrel is USGI, but I guess the rearsenal markings are hard to read and best guess is 53-54 Springfield. It's got the milled trigger guard which I think is Springfield ? Obviously the furniture is brand new with fake "original" cartouches. Other than that I know jack about it...haven't even had a chance to fire it yet :(

Love the rest of the rifles in the thread...really nice examples !

Joe N and Chris, I love those strait up WWII Garands. I think correct original WWII Garands are up there in rarity with matching K98's, in fact I've seen less of them.

I don't shoot mine either. With all the shooter grade Garands on the market, best to leave the few remaining WWII examples in the safe not chance it with the op rod.

I'd like to compare parts with your Garand Steve cuz it looks like ours were manufactured within 2 months of each other. Here's a pic of my un-cut op rod, looks to be exactly the same as yours.
