Can you remove the front stock ferrule from your Norc Chu wood stock?

2 options are available; Brownells order with $$ crazy shipping price or right here with me... PM me when you can.

Cheers,
Barney

Not quite knowing what you are talking about, there is a sheet metal U-channel in the front handguard. The other thing is the M1 Garand accurizing manuals describe a U-shaped piece of steel rod. Hold the trigger guard partially open so the glass resin will set up, and then squeeze the guard shut to lock everything in tight.

ya im kinda curious how to install it on my boyds stock as well. I managed to get it off the norc stock buy dremelling down a flat head screw driver to a blade edge and it came off no problem. How do you install it on the wood stock?

Bedding compound. Then with a hammer tap in the 2 side wall flaps on the inside of the ferrule, to lock it down to the inside of the stock.
;)

I didn't bother with any bedding compound. It was a tight fit, and by pressing in the sides a bit, similar to the way it was attached to the Norinco stock, it stayed put. Not that pretty though.
