I purchased mine from "Prophet River Firearms" which is one of the supporting dealers at the top of this page....
Ruger has a winner with this one if you like the .357 mag cartridge. These are indeed a fun rifle & are capable of taking game up to deer size, targets including tin cans & are certainly a very versatile little rifle.

Less than $800. including tax & shipping, which is no more than some of the handguns I have purchased, it don't kill my shoulder & heck, it's not even restricted....
It's going to get lots of use now that spring is here!

Good luck on your search....

LeBaron also has them listed in their catalogue but as with anything at LeBaron that isn't a Ruger 10/22 or Remington 870, whether or not they actually have physical stock at the store is another matter. Just relaying other possible options.

Williams Arms has one listed on their website for $725. No link because they are not a sponsoring dealer.

I have a 77/44 and while I like it don't feel the urge for the same rifle in .357 magnum. These rifles benefit from the installation of a Volquartsen sear to reduce a very heavy trigger pull.

357 mag is a lot more performing than 9mm, 40S&W, 45ACP, it deserve to be chamber in a good bolt action to get the best accuracy out of it... JP.

These rifles are light weight, short, & in my opinion just right for my needs. With the extra magazine, it provides versatility while hunting with different types of ammo in each.

With the NECC peep sight makes it easier to see for my old eyes, easy off & back on, without losing your zero, using just a tunnie to tighten it up.

As for being .357, no it's not for long range or shooting moose or bear, not that I wouldn't use it close up for protection if needed, but for a fun little rifle, hunting smaller game, shooting targets including tin cans & steel plates, it will provide many hours of enjoyment without punishing recoil, & at the end of the day, not develop that dreaded magnum-itis flinch.
Now, if they can make one in .32 H&R mag/.327 :dancingbanana:

Make my rifles in pistol calibre anytime.....

The 44 is the only pistol round worth chambering in a rifle.

I think there are a few bigger pistol rounds offered in rifle that are more powerful. Check out some of the newer offerings in Ruger. Some pistol cartridges I have seen that are more powerful than the .357 Magnum are .41 Magnum, .460 S&W Magnum, .475 Linebaugh, .480 Ruger, .500 S&W Magnum, and .454 Casull. Some of these are available in lever action as well.

You can order one at italiansportinggoods com
They don't have it in stock and I can't tell how soon you'll get it but it's only $800.
I'll get one perhaps this summer after paying utilities, property taxes and the motorcycle insurance.

x2 for the review.

I'm considering selling my SKS because I hate cleaning it after shooting corrosive. I am intrigued by the 77/357 for a fun plinker and truck type gun. I have seen a review or two on youtube but would still like to see a review done by a fellow nutter. I think I would mount a low magnification scope or maybe a red dot sight if it could be done.

What can one expect for accuracy with the .357 Magnum in rifle configuration?

I have been looking at how to mount a red dot type sight and came across this:

I sent a email asking if they could ship to Canada. I think the m77/357 with a small red dot sight would be a fantastic plinker/truck gun for sub 100 yard shooting.

Thoughts?
