I need a small handgun for target practice and silhouette shooting.
what do you think about the Beretta Neos ???
It's about in my price range about $ 479.00 brand new at Al Simmon.
Does any other dealer have this gun in stock ???

Thx. in advance.

I've shot one a couple of times. Trigger was spongy, but otherwise fun if the grip angle and so on suits you. I don't care for the Olympic look personally - I think I'd go for a Ruger 22/45 or Mk. III meself :)

Yes, you're right I like the grip when I tried one at the club but I didn't pay
attention on the trigger. Perhaps I should have the P512 MKIII into
consideration. $ 450.00 at Shooter's Choice.

I own a Beretta Neos. Up until Saturday, it was up for sale (then my wife tried it...).
Anyways, I also own a Ruger MKIII with the bull barrel and a Browning Buckmark Camper. Personally, I like the Browning the best, but only because of the grip (and maybe a bit because of the balance. Don't listen to any b.s. on the net about Ruger triggers!). The Beretta is my least favourite, and specifically because of the grip and balance (mine has the 4 1/2" barrel).
Just to confuse the issue further, while at Shooter's Choice, did you try the Browning Lite Splash? My wife picked out this gun (it looks "pimped") and liked it. I must admit, it deal feel and point well, so will probably be my next purchase.
Checking the Browning website, I see it is also available in a 7 1/4" barrel.
Bottom line is, it's what feels good in your hand that may make the final decision.
If you want, P.M. me and we'll me at Shooters Choice, I'll bring my three, we'll put a few (hundred) rounds through them and you can see how they feel.
Cheers.

Thx.

You won't be happy with the Neos trigger! Accuracy is great and the grip is very comfortable, but the trigger is stiker fired with a very heavy pull. The Brownings have the nicest factory triggers.

Yeah, I think I might end up with this one .....
The price looks pretty good $ 380.00
Or perhaps the one that comes with the weaver base.

$450? At least $100 cheaper through Wholesale Sports Calgary.

I will re-extend my invite. PM me, we'll meet at Shooter's Choice, and you can try my three autos, plus a wheelgun if you like.
"Try before ya buy!"

Thank you for invitation, I wish someday I can make it out there and join the
club there, it seems to be one of the nicest in-door range.
