Now this looks interesting! New Uberti Full-frame .22lr 12-shot 1873 Cattleman.
I'm still looking for a SA .22lr revolver but wondering if it can be had here (HG holds 12 rounds). My Single Ten purchase has been put on hold....
I fired off a few emails asking about its availability so waiting for a response.
I'm still wondering if its legal to own in Canada since it can hold 12rnds. Anyone know if its exempt because its a SA revolver? (I'm thinking no)
Because it's a revolver the idea of the 12 round vs 10 round "limit" never occured to me. But you raise a good point. It'll likely be classed as a prohib and we may as well forget about it. What a shame too since it would make a great plinking gun.
As far as I can figure the 10 limit is for pistol mags. Nothing for cylinders. Should be good to go but with our laws they can make things up as they go along. Would be a cool gun.
Getting 12 shots with a fluted cylinder must have been a challenge, I am guessing that existing laws don't cover (prohibit) a 12 shot revolver because they never thought of it.....could be wrong...hope not.
If they did that in a DA revolver they would own Steel competitions. In the hands of some SASS shooters they might anyway. Now that might bend some noses.
