Uberti 1873 clone.

I had a Uberti 1873 rifle in 45 Colt, and currently own a Uberti 1866 carbine in 44/40. Workmanship/finish on both were excellent and they both shot/shoot very well.

The only problem with them is the 800lb gorilla in the factory in Italy that tightens the screws so that you end up shearing the heads off some of them when you try to loosen them to take the action apart. Rapping the handle of your screwdriver downwards smartly a few times with a mallet sometimes help loosen them, otherwise w ww.vtigunparts.com will be happy to sell you some replacements.

The Italians make excellent Winchester Clones.......very true to the originals.
Fit and finnish is usually excellent, internals are flawless.
I put over 10,000 rounds through my 1866 Uberti when I was shooting CAS alot and never had a failure or jam of any kind whatsoever:rockOn:
