Uberti 1873 revolver carbine

[sunborn]

Does the Uberti (T/C, Beretta, Chaparral, etc.) SAA 1873 revolving carbine have any upgraded shielding over the forcing cone?

There are hot gasses that exit this space but I want a revolving carbine to play with and show off.

The Circuit Judge and other restricted revolving rifles supposedly have covers over the flash gap. I am looking for a non-restricted that does too.

Thanks for reading,

Mine doesn't have that. It looks just like any other 1873 SAA. I do wear safety glasses when I shoot it but I still feel it in my face. It feels like minor pin pricks. Its non-restricted classification outweighs that, though!

I also find that the gap between the cylinder face and the forcing cone is rather wide on the Uberti, compared to my Ruger SA revolvers. Leakage is naturally high in the Uberti.
