Uberti Buntline pistol/carbine... non-res?

Looking at the Uberti website and found myself wondering if the uberti buntline with 18" barrel and carbine stock would be non restricted in canada?

If the pistol grip were stylised on the buntline target to go over the minimum OAL... could it be non restricted?

Not about oal, A handgun is a handgun, regardless of length; but I imagine the carbine is non restricted.

Well, considerng that the butt stock is the only difference between them, and the price difference is $100, I'm curious if you made a butt stock if it would be de-restricted, as it would then be a carbine. Besides, I don't like the look of the current buntline carbine butt stock.

Is the stock perminantly(sp?) attached or one of the clip on deals? I think that would be the deciding factor.

The Uberti revolver carbine, "American carbine" or buntline or whatever people want to call it, is non-restricted. I inquired about that particular gun at the CFC. I wanted to buy one a year ago, but decided it was too much money to have one brought up from the states. Does anybody know a source in Canada?
