Could tell me why the ''El Paron'' is more expensive of $200.00 than the others ''Cattleman'' model. Is it much better in assembly and accuracy? I'm looking for a 357 Mag

The El Patron is factory tuned and runs smooth as a clock from what I've read. Epps had a good condition used one in 45LC a month ago for $450 but I sat on it too long and some other lucky person is the proud owner.

x2 Smoother action, crisper trigger pull. You also won't get the drag marks on the cylinder from the cylinder lock.

In the past i found the peacekeaper very ugly but NOW! i'm fall in love with the 1873. It is so beautiful. I,m looking for a 357 Mag. If you knows someone have one for sell, let me knows.

I bought a .357 Stainless 5 1/2 inch cattleman not long ago and I absolutely love it.

Finish and stocks will be different. I personally wouldn't own a cowboy gun with laser engraving rather than roll stamping.

As for the tuning, a $25 spring kit for SAA clones from Wolff [gunsprings gotcom] goes a long way towards that extra $200.

Its the Cimmeron Evil roy /basically indentical to the uberti El patron.(Custom tuned action, polished hammar, wolf springs perfectly timed from the factory )and so on .

Just to add, I found the sights were perfectly regulated on my "El Patron", not the case with the base uberti's I have.

I'd love to get one of Uberti's S&W Russian models some day. Probably in 45 Colt, since I really don't need to tool up for another cartridge to reload. (I wonder if the extractor has issues with that small rim, though).

The Remington Outlaw model catches my eye too.

I've considered a .357 magnum, but I would primarily be shooting .38 target loads and I don't know how far off the sights would be.

Where did bought it and how much? Could you tell me what is the trigger pull on the El Patron. 3 pounds??

el patron, evil roy and smoke wagon all the same gun..........some with a better and higher level of hand tuning than others

Can't speak to the larger cal Ubertis (my .357 SAA's are Rugers) but I do have the .22lr/.22mag Uberti Stallion and quality wise it's outstanding.
