has anyone here had a look at increasing the height of a ubr? I've got one to attach to my xcr when the adapter comes out and I know that xcr's seem to need some height help when useing ar15 parts. (I still dont know why its stock/adapter isnt higher to start with if its such an issue)
From some reading it appears that the ctr cheek riser only fits on the early generation ubr's with the narrow cheek piece. Has anyone tried to put one on a newer model? Is it a totally different size, or would 15 min in the oven maybe make the cheek weld pliable enough to widen it and get it to sit on the ubr? If it would work does anyone know where to find a ctr cheek riser up here? checked in brownells but couldnt find anything.
any suggestions welcome.
