Closed shop in 2016 but I think they are starting back up in 2023!

There website is new and updated however hav’nt heard nothing official yet.

Try the Canadian dealer, he also does “Fair” think it’s Bilozir, think the spellings right

Yes I know of who you are talking about...I checked his website for updates, however nothing yet. After they closed shop in 2016 I was mad at myself for not getting one in a sidelock and then in 2018 an older used one came for sale that I snatched up and its one of my favorite guns in the safe, best shotgun for sure out of the 5 i own.

It would be nice to see them start up again. I wanted one but when they closed shop I settled for a round body AYA #2 in 28 gauge.

Yaa who knows as someone else today told me they are still closed but just selling remaining inventory, but then why the updated website, logo and selling merchandise like bumper stickers and t shirts on there website?

I know your AYA 28, its really nice looking firearm as I saw it too on consignment....I got my 20G ugartechea from the same place :)

If you saw a round body 28 gauge AYA #2 on consignment, there was likely a 20 gauge with it, Prophet River sold both for me.

Yes I remember that too because you scooped up the grulla windsor on consignment however maybe I am getting my wires crossed with falcons 28g with the Aya 20g you had there aswell.

I would love more info and pics of the Jabali models.

What is the general price range of these guns? Italian? Turkish? Somewhere in between? German

Good question, however I’m sure like everything else more expensive now than in 2016 if indeed they are starting up again...if memory serves me right in 2016 there lowest grade sidelock which was the model 75 was around $3250.00 Canadian and the box lock model $1700.

Sounds about right. I have a model 75 in 20ga and it’s a great gun. Has all the bells and whistles of a much more expensive gun with just ok wood, mostly pressed engraving but with some hand work. Built to a certain price point for sure, but handles like a British SxS.

I picked up a Grulla Consort and a Grulla 216RB in 16 gauge on consignment. The 216RB was pretty much a fire sale price, as the owner had the stock cut, and a rubber recoil pad installed. Luckily he kept the piece that was cut off, and it was reinstalled so well, that you can barely see a parting line in the wood. After the owner had that done, I still paid less than 1/2 the price of a new 216RB.
