I'd been looking for a scope for my wife's favorite .22 for a while and found a nice little Mossberg M4D at an antique store a few weeks ago. The scope was in good shape but dirty inside. I decided I could try and clean it. All went well until I found that most of the dirt was in the inside of the center brass tube. I tried carefully removing the steel c-clip holing the rear lens into the tube and of course it snapped back in and shattered the lens. Anyone know of anywhere I can source a replacement lens or anyone who can help to fix it? She really likes this little scope and I'm kinda in the dog house...

Give Trace Scope repair a call - sometimes a scope like the Mossberg brand are a Weaver design or Redfield and he may be able to get it back going for you.

Might as well see if you can upgrade the glass at the same time making a better scope...
