The gun is a new 1895 Trapper that functions fine when I shoot it and eject the spent casings, but I carry it as a predator defense gun loaded with HSM Bear Loads (430 grain cast,) and at the end of the trip, it doesn't want to eject the live rounds. The tip of the projectile barely catches on that little corner bit circled in red. It looks like the corner of the chamber extending into the receiver. I have to remove the bolt and ejector to get the round out the back.
How would I go about getting this squared away? Send it to Gravel? I'd really rather not be without this gun for very long, so would I be better off just filing it down myself or taking it to a smith?
What do you figure the turnaround time would be like if I sent it in?
