I see the seller has it available in oak now too. I can just see the tagline for a Blair Witch Project-type Movie of the Week, maybe called the Blair Woods Project: "No tree is safe from the ravages of the dreaded mad stocker".
I'm deeply relieved to see that the seller on CGN assures us this is a "Hard to find stock in Canada". Makes it less likely I'll run into one in a dark target alley at my local shooting range. Honestly, if the CFC is going to prohibit various .22 rifles or accessories (e.g. 'bullpup' stocks) simply because they 'look menacing' by being shaped like AKs, etc., shouldn't this one seriously be considered for the list on the grounds that it's 'offensive to weapons'?
Although, as an amateur woodworker myself, I am amazed at the level of craftsmanship shown in the execution - the way the pieces have been cunningly dovetailed together so tightly and smoothly that you can hardly see the seams let alone feel them when running a hand over them must be simply amazing to experience in person ... Honestly, the fellow should enter that stock into one of those juried 'wood shows'. I'm sure it would astound the judges. (Well, it would do something to them anyway.)
