Ugly little pistol.... but...

garbage. looks cool. They should have made sure it worked with whatever ammunition they had before letting the media use it. Looks like it has potential to shoot your finger off. IF they made a small attachment off to the left of the cocking rod that would be a bit safer.

Is this the redjacket improved version???

yeah lets make a promo vid where the product is malfunctioning multiple times..... should sell millions! Guess I am just spoiled with my ruger mk 2 I suppose.

the video was taken at SHOT if I'm not mistaken.

The malfunctions may be simply they tested the gun with brand "A" ammo and when they got to SHOT they forgot the brand "A" ammo and the only ammo available was brand "F" ammo? :p

Ugly as sin but that to me isn't a reason to not buy a gun :)

However, the charging "handle" or should I say rod/post scares the hell outta me.

As mentioned, some if not all Semi-22LR have ammo preferences but I was expecting more from a system that uses Ruger mags. My SR-22 is crazy reliable with all the ammo I've fed it so far.

All that said, I'd LOVE to see a sorted version with a proper outta the way charging handle. Grooving on the Space Marine Shoulder Stock (SM-SS Option ;) ) !

PP90m1 had the same type of charging by the muzzle. They don't use that gun for a reason! Dumbest idea .... Let's put the thing that makes it hot right next to the place you'd least like your hands to be when it's ready to go!

Thats a good point actually, would the added stock be illegal?

Same thing as adding a stock to any other pistol as it's not a true bullpup design.

On the rest of this...what practical(legal) use for a 22 handgun is there in this country? You take it to the range and punch paper or ring steel. Do it with whatever style you want and that's pretty much the end of it. I can guarantee these will sell like pancakes with the tacticool crowd. :p

For safe cocking.
Attach a string to the front end of the cocking rod and pull
on the string with your left hand.
Or better yet, attach the string to your belt so that when you
"present and aim" the cocking is automatic (unless you lose your belt.)
