Ugly Logo on Pistols

I have some nice pistols, new in the wax paper, but they have ugly logos on the slides.

Would Cerekote cover them up, or should I mill some material off the slides?

I'd keep it as is. A piece of history right there. It's probably the best appliance in your house!

If that's engraved cerakoat won't cover that up. But it wouldn't stand out as much.

You will want to have that milled off for sure, angle grinder would work if thats all you have.

That gun's pretty plain jane. I'm not sure I'd bother trying to fix it up. I mean no rail , no laser grips, the sights aren't fibre op. I'd give up on it and just go get myself a nice Hi Point

Have you tried just hitting the logo with a large hammer a few times? This usually comes out the best, in my experience.

Since the gun is already messed up, it's a perfect opportunity to try your hand at do it yourself engraving. You don't need actual engraving tools, just a good dremel is fine for your first try.

Nah, too much trouble. I'd just fill it in with JB Weld and then paint it with BBQ paint. I mean, if it's good enough for a SKS.......
