My oldest daughter has the featherwieght compact in 308 win its a great handling rifle for her height, she's about 5,5 maybe 5,6
I ve shot it a few times it handles well and I would not hesitate to hunt with it and I'm 6 feet tall especially later in the season when I'm wereing a big coat. The stock is well designed and recoil with full power loads are just fine.
Now that's what I call a "run-on sentence..."
Lol...It was a 7mm-08. If it was .308 , it probably would have left with me.
They are ballistic twins. What are you waiting for???? Go back and make a deal before someone scoops it on you.
I bought a nice 1990's rem 700 SS/syn with a tiny pencil 20" barrel. The gun weighs about 5 3/4 lbs with a scope on it. It is in .308 and it has become my HANDIEST, most beloved rifle.I'm strategizing a bit with .308.i have an s load of .308 projectiles. Oddly enough,I have four .30 cal rifles but never owned a .308.Been thinking of getting a nice compact .308 of some sort and now that I've held this little beaut.....I want one.
Sweet looking set up. Got a nice little leupold vx-11 2-7x33 sitting idol right now and she'll suit the little winny to a tee. Hmmm,a pare scope is as good a reason as any to buy it I guess.lol
