Ultimate hunting scope!!

I have been at the Leupold factory in Beaverton Oregon and watched them test scopes in a large vat of pressurized water. The vat is clear plexiglass and the pressure will force any leakes in the scopes to show up as a stream of air bubbles. If they find one that leaks (a rare occurrence) then it is removed and rebuilt. This unit would be tagged for addtional specific inspection and if it failed a second time then the scope would be dismantled and the original body scrapped to be melted down to start from the beginning. Every Leupold scope is tested this way...not just random samples. Phil.

65 feet is the minimum required depth set by the us military for rifle scopes, its all about hydrostatic pressure.

i would hazard a guess you haven't tested your optics at more than 5 feet, so the pressure at that depth is 1.1475 atmospheres ( 16.8636 psi )

where as the mark 4s minimum is 65 feet, working out to 2.9175 atmospheres (42.8753 psi)

so really if you want to go on to claim your product is as good or better than leupolds or bushnells why don't you shell out the cash for one of their cheapest scopes instead of using a straw man argument stating the leupold or bushnell rep wouldn't toss his scope in water because these reps are responsible for the condition of the demo equipment when its returned.

hey :)
We own many bushnell, leupold, simmons, j.c higgins and tasco rifle scopes, used on many caliber guns .its not just a "straw mans argument", we are just as responsible for our demos, cost to us. My dad has been hunting for years and has used many brands of rifle scopes, clairbility and dependability is just as good. If you want, try one of ours. :D
Thanks

on my .308 i stuck a S&B 8x56 and its a cracking good scope when the light is just starting to fade.excellent optics but you sure have to pay your money for it.
on my .223 i slapped a meotopa ill recticle 6-18 x 50 and again money well spent.excellent optics, good field of view and spot on magnification.
cost wise and shade less than the S&B.

if you have the money spend very wisely on a scope.once you have had eastern european scopes, you defo wont got back to the normal run of the mill.
good luck with your choice.
