So guys,

I found these awesome range case. The thing is they are made in the USA which is good but shipping to here is insane. Maybe if we get enough interest, a dealer can become the distributor for Canada? So dealers please chime in!

Here is the website:

http://www.guncruzer.com

This is the one I am interested in but they have a lot of other ones too! ( and don't worry, you can fit trigger locks in-between the gaps)

Looks nice...it only fits 4" revolvers IF that's a deal breaker for anyone. $260-$290 U.S. for that one depending if you need wheels or not. I'd like to see what they charge to get them up here!

I'd buy one in a second....I've seen them online, and always thought they were pretty stinkin sharp. Conventional trigger locks may be a tight squeeze, but I'm sure there are other locking systems that would work just fine. I likey! :)

These wouldn't be ITAR or anything like that would they?

If not, do a group buy and ship them to the states.

The $100 is just their way of politely saying they don't want the hassle of international shipping. If you found another company that carries them I'll bet shipping would be a lot less (although still pricey)

Well, I presume its not ITAR because they were willing to ship it for $100+

I think a dealer could do well importing and selling these… Or maybe I will be the distributor lol!

Why would a case be covered by ITAR? Is it a firearm, firearm parts, optic or reloading component ( brass, powder, primer or projectile ). Accessories like this are not a problem.

It is similar but I don't know how you could fit trigger locks in his set-up unless they are the crappy skinny ones… No offence but it looks great for a DIY job :)

I'd just like to have a dedicated case!

So your one of those guys that believes in trigger locks? :nest:

The crappy skinny ones as you call them meet the requirements and take up less space. I could fit my master lock trigger locks in it as well but why waste all that space when I can fit more handguns in the case?

As was pointed out this case is very limited to revolver size and as I have seen one of these in person while I was down in Mississippi a few weeks ago they don't fit various pistol sizes well at all and they flop around in the case. That's why I went the route I did with a case and foam setup that hugs my various size and shape pistols securely so that they don't flop around scuffing the finish.

Now normally when I see a member looking for something only available south of the border I offer to help by buying it and having it sent to my US address since I conveniently live 15 min from the US border. However I definitely won't be making that offer here since you seem to know so much better than us " DIY " guys.

Enjoy your case when it shows up.

Well firstly, yes I do believe in trigger locks since its the law. I much prefer the larger ones than the little plastic screw ones so I don't have to fumble around at the range with my firearms.

Secondly, I already have a Pelican case with the regular foam that can't be removed. So, it would make no sense to get another Pelican case. However, you could argue to get the pluck foam but I rather just buy the set-up I indicated if it were available in Canada. And it seems that a few guys do have interest in it ;)

Anyway, I tried to be clear that yours was not bad in any way, I just rather buy something like what I want instead.

You should contact the guys at IRUNGUNS. If there is demand for them I'm sure they would be willing to bring them up here. They're bringing in some ghost gun receivers because guys on this site wanted them. The race gun case looks good for the travelling competitor, I'm sure they could sell those too!!!

I love it, a DIY might be ok but im a firm believer you get what you pay, imma order a 4 gun one too soon
