Ultimate survival shotgun?!?

I would rather put a pocket chainsaw in the stock that have that little useless thing with me. Any branch that saw can cut, I can break with my hand.

I think a lot of us crazy people on here have survival/zombie kits or bug out bags or whatever you want to call them. This guy put everything I have in mine (which is in the form of a vest/bag) and even more stuff and put them into a portable package. Ya, it looks awful and must weigh a lot but if anything happened, it would be convenient just to be able to grab your shotgun and have all that equipment with you. LOL I am such a loser

On the other hand, you lose the shotgun, you lose your whole survival kit too. I'd rather have a bag/sling pack and the shotgun.

It's a little off the reservation to be sure but I've read a bit about bug out bags etc. and this is just another variation on that. I wouldn't want to carry it far though. But, aside from the saw, it is not the worst thing I've ever seen. Pretty efficient use of space too.

I think some of the ideas are alright, but honestly would prefer a dedicated survival bag coupled with a simple, compact shotty. Less garbage in and on, IMO.

Neat idea's as discussed. But the only equipment id want on my shotgun would be maintenance supplies for the gun itself or other firearms. Patches, brushes, string or rope ect. Maybe a TINY blade for general use but thats about it.

You somehow loose that survival shotgun, there goes ALL your survival gear as well!
I can see a safety issue as well, perhaps a not so firearms savvy survivalist could have a really bad accident when they are using the saw.
I'm not trying to be any kind of lawyer here, I just wanted to point that out.

The compass...IF its a real one, a knife and a flashlight are MUCH better suited in your pockets or on a belt IMO. And he should lose the forgrip and rails. Filling a empty stock/grip with supplies is not a new idea...but it is a good one.

+1 on the gun maintenance supplies. As over the top as bush Jesus' gun kit is, the butt of a gun is a good place to store a few odds and ends but why he didn't add a small brush, patches, rod and small bottles of oil and cleaner is beyond me. Sure most pump shotguns can take abuse but when the Zombies are surrounding you, a gun jam caused by lack of firearms maintenance ensures your joining the ranks of the undead...:p
