Ultimatum Deadline Action

I've been following this too and almost jumped on the deal they ran but held off due to lack of info from others. I'm not precision target shooting but instead building a light fast hunting rig so how it cycles it most important. I could just build on a run of the mill remmy action but want something special ya know?
 
I'm excited! Eagerly waiting for an email letting me know my action has shipped. Next step is to order a barrel, I'm thinking a CarbonSix prefit, but it will probably have to wait until my finances recover after Christmas.

Non a deadline action, but since it's the same thread as savage, i just ordered a barrel myself.
From a company called International Barrels Inc, i did not confirm for myself but i have been told they are related to MDT.
A nice touch to screw on a CDN pipe on a CDN action

But they are just ramping up so options in cals and twists are quite limited for now... they will definitely have lots to offer next year. If you can wait, happy to help

These options are now possible from my other manfs... 6.5 PRC... 224 Valkyrie... 6mm Creedmoor.. and hundreds more.

Mine shipped last week too. I'll also be getting a pre fit barrel from Jerry and will post up my initial impressions when she arrives.

Anyone else pick up one of those action wrenches? I could probably have found a cheaper one but liked the look of the UP version.

I ordered the action wrench and barrel nut with mine.

Then I blew the transmission on my truck...

So it might be a while before I can afford the barrel.
 
Mine showed up as well. Like Ryan stated, the machining is immaculate. The bolt isn't the as smooth as my tikka but is pretty good. I imagine it will break in over time and improve. I really like the strong detent on the lock up. Light, but with strong, positive engagement.

Overall a very nice looking unit!
