Last year I met the Ultimatum guys at The IWA show in Nuremberg Germany. I was well impressed with their Deadline action that we struck a deal. Brock & Norris in UK would import the action and also gets in IBI barrels. Might as well try what Canada has to offer and also got the Triggertech trigger. Mike at Brock & Norris did great job at profiling a IBI blank to light varmint 24" and fitting it to the Magnum action to chamber in 300 win mag. Posted it to Ireland a few weeks ago and fitted it into one of our carbon fibre E-Tac4RLA stocks that weighs just under 35oz and prepped for Arca-Mlok/pica/swivel stud attachment options. Atlasworx mag system with accurate 5 shot mag. Just love the 300, very nice to shoot in this configuration.

Thank you,
I sprayed so many green or coyote based rifles for myself, just wanted something different... no green for a change.

Need to get some better weather first. Had a force 6 today that blew the chrono away while trying to fire a few shots. Only got 4 rounds out before the heavens opened again. Group was 20mm. Early days.

103m off the wind shaken Landrover (total 11 rounds fired so far)

I will update, so far I think you in Canada are lucky to have good local made actions, barrels and triggers.

300PRC might be the better choice however it will take some time until we would have ammo for it on our little Island. I had a lovely 300wm before but someone really wanted it, so it was sold. The 300wm grew on me.

Managed to pass the farm a few times to check zero and do some tests in the last days. Wind was around 3-5mph on all days.

Left 20" CTR 308 stainless, mid rem 700 20" Hardy carbon barrel 6.5 Creedmoor and the Deadline. All rifles have the same stock design and I deliberately shot them all with a fairly loose hold. Just let them recoil into me. I am interested in the rifles behaviour especially with differing recoil levels.

I have the most experience with my 308's this load shoots well in every 308 I have owned. Lilja, Bartlein, Bergara, Lothar Walther barrels included.

The 6.5CM just had a bit taken off the front of the barrel as we thought there might have been an issue.
Three shots were after zero.

The deadline I fired yesterday with a load thrown together, I have very little experience with 300wm. Even this as is would be ok for hunting.

All shot's fired off the wobbly hood of the Land Rover.
