Ultra lightweight hunting ?

You using it wrong, flip it over and use both sides, just like hunting ginch. This ardent is pretty high class with three sets, fancy lol

Sorry dude..... I have no desire to "get in touch with my inner self"....... lol....... a t-shirt under mountain house or IMP circumstances is a worthy sacrifice vs a rock.......

If you haven figure it out how to wipe your own but by now I think you shod not handle a Loaded rifle or leave the house for that matter for your own safety

I got my Basic shopping list figerd out
Everything will able to sit on the back of the rokons as well as the pack

Any budy have experience with packraft I bin looking at the Alpcaca packrafts
A packraft shod open a lot of country if stove is left home

Pristine Ventures PR 49 HD is an AWESOME pack raft.

Ok, enough funning about. I purchased a mystery ranch metcalf pack. It looks well made, although they aren't made in the states anymore. It weighs a little over 6lbs. I got it through Grouse River Outfitter's in Kelowna. Western mountaineering sell top of the line light weight sleeping bags. I think you are on the right track as far as the Seek Outdoors tipi tent. With a titanium stove I believe it would be the best light weight set up for the wet coast. At least you can dry your gear out. As far as rifle's go, I would go with a Kimber Montana, Adirondack or Mountain Ascent.

So instead of 4 oz. of TP, you'll lug around a ten pound load of shyte... seems like bad economy to me...
Well I would guess it would come down to how regular you are. Maybe a guy your size could hold 10-20lbs of shyte, I dont know. You might scare the dominant bears out of the territory when you finally went though. lol

Used it for sheep hunting. Unbelievable how much it can carry even in some pretty fast water

15 lbs and carry over 800 lbs is intresting packraft .
A comparable 16 foot fibergass canoe is over 50 lbs !

I need a life boat for my 30' ex- commercial troller/ Live aboard
It would work for now till I get a proper aluminum skiff and handy for hiking up the rivers and running down the river and hunting on the beach

I bin looking at Kaboats but there not lightwaght

These boats work a little better with a bit of weight on the bow. Makes them easier to control. But they are no fun on a windy lake. Perfectly safe but just real hard to paddle against a headwind.

If wiping your posterior with a cold rock while another cgn'r looks on I will take a pass........... ;)

Oh it ain't that bad you wash the sand off the rock first unless you're out of coffee and need a substitute. But do this for ten days and you'll feel every aspect of life thereafter is an incredible luxury. :d We're not just building experiences, we're character building!

Smooth rocks are for city boys... real men just do their job and then sit bare-arz on a gravel bar with their legs in the air and drag themselves along like a poodle on shag carpet... SQUEAKY CLEAN!

Anybody have experience with Seek outside ultralight packs?

I've owned a Evolution since they first came out. Had the opportunity to run one of the preproduction demos for a month of hunting season and liked it enough to sell my Mystery Ranch packs for the Evolution. Never regretted the decision once. The packs are light, waterproof and very comfortable, loaded light or very heavy.

We also have a couple of their Unaweep Packs in the family now, my kid's packs. It's a great option, saves weight and cost, if you don't foresee needing the pack frame only use that the Revolution allows.

Fire away with any questions you may have. :)
