Ultra sonic cleaner

The ultrasonic bath I use is a small lab grade unit that looks like this:

I mentioned what I use as a solution above. Plain and simple, it just works and fast. Not sure what I am doing different from the guys who say it doesn't work but I have done thousands of cases this way and never an issue. The pictures in my above post show the truth.

I've been using that 6mm Br recipe in an ultrasonic cleaner. Once I've done the 50% vinegar / water and dish soap cycle everything looks awesome and the brass is beautifully clean. If you let it air dry I find the acid can make some weird colors on the cases. Then if I use the baking soda solution to neutralize the cases come out tarnished and old looking. I obviously don't have the right recipe.

Can I do away with the baking soda and use heavy rinsing and then the oven dry method mentioned here or is the acid still going to leave nasty marks on the cases?
